These include insufficient tightening torque, screw head stripping and hence unable to torque to recommended torque, or even technical errors during the implant restoration process. Following the removal of the implant, bone grafting may be required to enhance bone volume and density. This procedure aims to create a solid foundation for a new implant. 

Re-implantation of a new dental implant needs to be completed after the removal and bone grafting process. 

As you can imagine, this can result in prolonged treatment timelines, increased costs, and potential discomfort for the patient. In short: it’s a nightmare!

Determining the party liable for the complications can be complex.
